BALANCE ROLLS IN G2 LA CANADA STAKES

BALANCE (Thunder Gulch -- Vertigineux, by Kris S.) opened her 2007 season with a dominating 4 1/4-length victory in the G2 La Canada Stakes at Santa Anita. The multiple G1-winning filly, who finished fourth in last year's G1 Kentucky Oaks, drew off in the final furlong to win the 1 1/8-mile race under Victor Espinoza.
