CHOISIR FILLY REMAINS UNBEATEN

5th February 2007

First-crop Choisir filly Hurried Choice (2f, Choisir-Hustle Bustle, by Catrail) maintained her unbeaten record with victory in a 2-year-old open handicap staged at Rosehill Gardens over 1100m. Having her first outing since her impressive debut score in the Listed AJC Gimcrack Stakes (1000m) last October, Hurried Choice made it two-from-two when a heavily supported odds-on favourite.

The daughter of Choisir has long since been mentioned with the leading contenders for the 2007 Group One STC Golden Slipper Stakes (1200m) and lost no admirers with her latest success. Trainer David Payne earmarked the Group Two STC Silver Slipper Stakes, to be staged at Rosehill Gardens on February 24, as her next assignment.

Finishing third behind Hurried Choice at Rosehill was fellow Choisir first-crop member Allervite, a winner at Wyong in January. In addition to Hurried Choice and Allervite, Choisir has been represented by the Gold Coast winner Leinster Lad making-up his tally of three individual winners to date.
