TALE OF THE CAT NOTCHES THREE MAIDEN WINS IN ONE DAY

TALE OF THE CAT scored three maiden wins on Saturday when Redness, So Smooth, and Tale of the Queen all won maiden special weight contests in the U.S. Tale of the Queen (Tale of the Cat -- Queen Inca, by Capote) got things started by winning the second race at Tampa Bay Downs by 1 3/4 lengths. Four races later, So Smooth (Tale of the Cat -- Heavenliness, by Lord Avie) won by a nose at the same track. Redness (Tale of the Cat -- One Number Short, by Katowice) completed the triple by easily scoring a 3 1/2 length victory at Sunland Park.
