First foal for Footstepsinthesand

The first foal by unbeaten 2,000 Guineas winner Footstepsinthesand has arrived. Born at Oaklands Farm Stud, West Sussex on Tuesday night, the colt is out of Miss Hawai, a Peintre Celebre half-sister to Listed winner Mer de Corail, whose dam Miss Tahiti won the Group 1 Prix Marcel Boussac for Andre Fabre and Daniel Wildenstein. Liz Hardisty who bred the colt in partnership with Marston Stud described him as “a fine bay colt with nice markings”.
