PEINTRE CELEBRE'S DAUGHTER IS WORLD CHAMPION
Peintre Celebre's brilliant daughter Pride (7m Peintre Celebre - Specificity by Alleged) was named the World Champion filly or mare of 2006.
Sven Hanson's home-bred was ranked 123 in the World Thoroughbred Rankings after a season that included victory in the G1 Champion Stakes and the G1 Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Cup.
Meanwhile Sadler's Wells' three-time G1 winning daughter Alexandrova (4f Sadler's Wells - Shouk by Shirley Heights) was jointly World Champion Three-Year-Old Filly of 2006 on a mark of 118 in the World Thoroughbred Rankings.
"I'm especially looking forward to seeing what Alexandrova is capable of this year," said Garry O'Gorman, Ireland's senior Flat Handicapper. "She was a big fish in a small pool last year, winning fillies' races fairly easily and I'm looking forward to seeing how good she is in all-age all-sex races."
