Trainer Jim Bolger confirmed 5-time Gr1-winning 5YO mare Alexander Goldrun (Gold Away-Renashaan, by Darshaan) "will visit leading Coolmore 2nd-crop sire Galileo next year" (following her final race when finishing 9th in last weekend's Gr1 HK Cup at Sha Tin behind Pride) . Alexander Goldrun retires with 10 wins from 31 starts & nearly £2 million (A$4.8m) prize-money. Her highlights include successive victories in Ireland's 2005 & 2006 Gr1 Pretty Polly Stakes, plus the UK 2005 Gr1 Nassau Stakes & 2004 French Gr1 Prix de l'Opera & Gr1 Hong Kong Cup. In addition, she recorded 2006 Gr1-placings in October's UK Gr1 Sun Chariot Stakes, September's Irish Gr1 Champion Stakes, August's UK Gr1 Nassau Stakes & May's Irish Gr1 Tattersalls Gold Cup, as well as 2005 Gr1-placings in the French Gr1 Prix de l'Opera, Irish Gr1 Gr1 Champion Stakes & UK Gr1 Falmouth Stakes, plus a 2004 Gr1-placing in the Irish 1000 Guineas.
