COOLMORE-SIRED FOALS TO FORE AT GOFFS

Progeny of Coolmore stallions were all the rage at Goffs' record-breaking November Sale headed by a 310,000 euros son of Fasliyev bred by Joe Fogarty and sold from Kilfeacle Stud Agent Anthony Stroud bought the half-brother to G1 Lockinge Stakes second Majors Cast and G2 winner Wunders Dream, who was conceived for a fee of just 25,000 euros.

Predictably foals by Galileo were in great demand following the stallion's superb season. A colt out of Corrine, bred by Bjarne Minoe, was bought for 255,000 euros by Camas Park Stud while his foals also realised prices such as 250,000 euros, 240,000 euros and 200,000 euros, 175,000 euros and 130,000 euros.

High Chaparral's first-crop yearlings were well received this year and his second group of foals proved equally popular with prices such as 230,000 euros and 220,000 euros for his offerings.

Danehill Dancer's foals sold for up to 195,000 euros while the first-crop by One Cool Cat to come on the market were headed by a 180,000 euros filly out of Latest Chapter sold by Oak Lodge Stud to John O'Byrne.
