NZ $350,000 GALILEO COLT

In New Zealand, Hong Kong trainer Michael Chang paid the Day-1 top price of NZ$350,000 for a colt by Galileo (the 1st foal from 3-time-winning Centaine mare Heather) during yesterday's opening session at the 2-day Ready-To-Run Sale at Karaka in Auckland. The colt (consigned from Lyndhurst Farm) is the 2nd highest-priced lot ever seen at this Sale. (Breedingandracing.com)
